We Are Hiring! Cost and Budget Engineer
At **Producción y Mantenimiento del Perú S.A.C.**, we specialize in **outdoor advertising** and are currently seeking an analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong technical vision to join our team.
**Required Profile**
* **Education:** Bachelor's degree or professional title in Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
* **Experience:** Minimum 1–2 years in cost estimation, budgeting, manufacturing, construction, or technical office roles.
* **Knowledge:** Unit Price Analysis (UPA), direct/indirect costs, and waste control.
* **Software:** Advanced Excel (mandatory). AutoCAD, MS Project, and Power BI are desirable.
* **Skills:** Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications, analytical judgment, and objectivity.
* **Communication:** Ability to firmly justify observations to Operations and Management.
**Main Responsibilities**
* **Quantities Surveying:** Prepare and review quantity take-offs, quantities, and material lists.
* **Calculations:** Calculate consumable materials, expected waste, and labor requirements.
* **UPA:** Prepare unit price analyses and project budgets.
* **Validation:** Validate the technical and economic reasonableness of Operations’ budgets.
* **Support:** Verify that used prices are supported by current quotations, references, or historical data.
* **Alerts:** Identify line items with prices, quantities, or productivity rates outside acceptable ranges.
* **Database:** Maintain up-to-date databases of prices, productivity rates, consumption data, and historical costs.
* **Analysis:** Analyze variances due to price, quantity, productivity, waste, and scope changes.
* **Reports:** Prepare cost reports and alerts for the Administration and Finance Management.
* **Standardization:** Establish a standardized cost database and manage reference quotations.
* **Coordination:** Provide technical coordination with Operations, Projects, and Procurement (without authority to approve purchases).
* **Improvement:** Propose improvements to budget preparation and tracking processes.
