Designs and promotes advanced analytics initiatives for the business. **Position Summary:** Data Strategy Analyst **Location:** Peru – Lima, San Isidro **Employment Type:** Full-time **Reports To:** Business Analytics Lead **Position Purpose:** Drive the evolution of the organization's analytical capabilities by developing advanced analytics solutions and establishing robust data management practices, including governance models, standardized processes, and control mechanisms to ensure information quality, traceability, and reliability. **A Day in the Life of...** * Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of information used in reports and dashboards, identifying issues and leading continuous improvement actions. * Define and promote standards, business rules, and best practices to ensure information traceability and appropriate usage. * Monitor and optimize data processes, proposing improvements that enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of information assets. * Coordinate with internal teams and technology vendors to implement data engineering best practices for data extraction, transformation, and availability. * Identify, design, and promote advanced analytics initiatives that generate business value and support decision-making. * Participate in strategic projects across departments, translating business needs into analytical solutions and driving their adoption. * Implement controls and rules to prevent incidents, strengthen data quality, and maintain reliable information. * Work with large volumes of commercial information, ensuring its organization, traceability, and proper handling. **What Will Make You Successful:** * Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Systems Engineering, Information Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related roles. * Knowledge and experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or data strategy. * Intermediate-level SQL proficiency for data analysis and validation. * Intermediate-level Python proficiency applied to advanced analytics. * Intermediate-to-advanced Power BI proficiency. **Competencies:** * Analytical thinking * Quality orientation and attention to detail * Organization and rigor * Proactivity and initiative
