Job Summary: Responsible for efficiently executing maintenance activities and controlling operations from the shiploader cabin, ensuring safety and environmental care. Key Highlights: 1. MISSION Efficiently perform all maintenance activities during vessel loading while controlling operations from the shiploader cabin, promptly and prudently reporting any risk situations affecting equipment, health, and/or the environment. Respond proactively and effectively to emergencies, maintaining high standards of commitment, communication, safety, and environmental care. FUNCTIONS Carry out instructions and directives issued by the Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor and the Electrical Generation Supervisor, appropriately reporting progress, performance, and goal achievement. Execute maintenance orders by identifying required resources and time for each operation, complemented by timely notification of assigned maintenance orders within established deadlines. Promptly request materials and supplies necessary for scheduled and emergency maintenance operations. Request approval for respective warehouse withdrawals (reservations), verifying spare parts and material stock status, coordinating logistical support when necessary for complex movements, and reporting stock shortages or returns of spare parts, materials, and/or supplies. Report any anomalous events affecting equipment, components, elements, or systems—whether owned or third-party—that could pose risks to port operations, safety, or environmental care. Monitor and inspect systems, equipment, and components involved in port operations and falling under this discipline’s scope. These include: monitoring and control instrumentation, PLCs, frequency converters, soft starters, displays, belt and batch scales, general sensors, industrial networks (Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet), SCADA systems, pneumatic and hydraulic solenoid valves, and control software. Keep routine occurrence reports, specific activity logs, performance records, and resource utilization records up to date. Perform system and equipment lockout procedures prior to intervention in both scheduled and emergency situations. Control vessel loading operations from the shiploader cabin, specifically regarding transport systems, movement, and lifting operations—through direct visual observation as well as via control instruments, alarm and fault panels, load capacity indicators, and current consumption data. Inform and guide problem resolution and restoration of operational conditions by interpreting information recorded in the previously mentioned control and status tools. Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper condition of instrumentation and operating/movement equipment in electrical substations and the shiploader cabin. Report completed scheduled tasks and equipment failures under one’s responsibility to the Area Head and/or Supervisor to enable prompt replacement of components. Requirements Graduate / Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or Technical Diploma in Industrial Electronics and Automation or Industrial Electronics.
