At Stefanini, we are more than 30\.000 brilliant minds connected across 41 countries, doing what they love and co\-creating a better future. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional requirements in coordination with business areas and technical teams. * Develop and maintain up-to-date functional project artifacts, including Functional Specification Document, Technical Specifications, Use Cases, User Stories, Business Rules, Traceability Matrix, and other required documentation. * Create process, flow, sequence, component, and other diagrams/models to facilitate understanding of the proposed solution. * Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities that add value to client initiatives. * Provide functional support throughout all project phases—from requirements elicitation through production release and stabilization. * Define the functional testing strategy according to each project’s scope. * Design, document, and execute functional test cases, recording evidence and results. * Manage the defect lifecycle, tracking issues until resolution and validating implemented fixes. * Coordinate functional certification (UAT) activities with users, developers, and Project Managers. * Validate that developments meet functional requirements, business rules, and defined acceptance criteria. * Participate in ceremonies and management activities under agile methodologies (Scrum) and projects executed using traditional methodologies (waterfall). * Prepare test progress reports, quality metrics, and indicators related to the quality assurance process. * Contribute to continuous improvement of functional analysis and quality assurance processes by adopting best practices, templates, and standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic Background** * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. **Experience** * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Functional QA, or in similar roles. * Experience eliciting and analyzing requirements from business users. * Experience developing functional documentation and technical specifications. * Experience designing, planning, and executing functional software testing. * Experience participating in projects executed under traditional (waterfall) and agile (Scrum) methodologies. * Preferred experience in insurance, financial, or high-criticality sector projects. **Technical Knowledge** * Functional requirements management and analysis. * Preparation of Functional Specification Document (FSD), Technical Specification Document (TSD), User Stories, Use Cases, Business Rules, and Traceability Matrix. * Process modeling using BPMN, flowcharts, UML (use case, sequence, activity, component, and class diagrams), or equivalent tools. * Design, documentation, and execution of functional test cases. * Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation. * Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Draw.io, Bizagi, or similar. * Understanding of traditional methodologies (PMI/Waterfall) and agile methodologies (Scrum). **Competencies** * Analytical ability and problem-solving orientation. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Technical writing and production of high-quality documentation. * Attention to detail and quality focus. * Organization and planning skills. * Customer orientation and business understanding. * Collaborative work within multidisciplinary teams. * Proactivity and capacity for continuous learning. * Results orientation and continuous improvement mindset. **Added Value (Preferred)** * Knowledge of test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. * Experience testing APIs using Postman. * Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools. * Basic knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevOps. * Scrum certification, ISTQB Foundation, or equivalent.
