Position Summary:
Supervise HSE performance, implement the Global Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) System, and lead risk prevention talks and training.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Comprehensive HSE supervision for personnel and contractors.
2. Support in implementing global safety management systems.
3. Technical and legal advisory services for risk prevention.
An opportunity has now arisen to join AtkinsRéalis as an HSE Supervisor.
**Responsibilities:**
* Supervise the HSE performance of personnel and contractors and subcontractors assigned for supervision, in accordance with Client and company requirements.
* Support the implementation of AtkinsRéalis’ Global Health, Safety, and Environment Management System (GHSEMS).
* Analyze contractors’ pre\-mobilization forms.
* Support management in all HSE-related activities.
* Provide documentation/content to management for HSE awareness bulletins and communications.
* Facilitate HSE inspections.
* Facilitate/support incident investigations.
* Maintain daily, up-to-date knowledge of all active work areas.
* Support management in closing corrective actions.
* Implement corporate and project-specific safety standards and procedures.
* Support implementation and compliance with project-defined HSE plans.
* Lead risk prevention talks and training.
* Conduct risk condition assessments during project execution, both in offices and on-site.
* Maintain records of corporate and legal regulations disseminated to employees regarding risk prevention.
* Provide technical and legal advisory services to project management, HSE teams, construction teams, supervisors, and all workers on matters related to Health, Safety, and Risk Prevention.
* Jointly lead, with respective management, accident investigations to identify root causes and propose improvements.
* Audit internal and contractor HSE systems and programs.
* Review relevant documents requiring application of standards and regulations; such documents may include drawings, technical specifications, design criteria, reports, etc.
* Operate on-site within authorized areas, adhering to required site safety standards.
* Be familiar with regulations applicable to assigned company activities and aware of any potential or actual health or safety hazards arising during their execution.
* Monitor and support compliance with legal requirements related to occupational health and safety (e.g., inspections, audits, SCSSO meetings).
* Track corrective actions arising from incident investigations.
* Comply with and enforce the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System, as well as other commitments assumed by the company.
**Requirements:**
* Academic Qualification: Licensed and registered Professional Engineer in Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields.
* Software Proficiency: Intermediate-level Microsoft Office.
* English Proficiency: Intermediate.
* Experience: Minimum 4 years in similar roles.
* Experience in construction activities, EPCM projects, mining and related operations, among others, conducted at mining units in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum 120 hours).
* Availability to work under a shift-based regime in Moquegua, including night shifts.
