Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and operational readiness of equipment and facilities by planning and supervising maintenance activities, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Manage the maintenance budget and ensure compliance with regulations. **Job Description** ---------------------- Ensure the proper functioning and operational readiness of all store equipment and facilities. Plan, coordinate, supervise, and ensure timely execution of general preventive and corrective maintenance across the entire assigned unit. Coordinate the timely execution of various external maintenance services—including cleaning, pest control, air conditioning, elevators, freight lifts, painting, furniture, electrical equipment, cafeteria concessionaires, and others—and promptly inform Management to support required decision-making. Manage the annual and monthly maintenance budget for the unit and ensure adherence to the annual maintenance schedule. Comply with all store procedures, especially those related to occupational health and safety standards, particularly among all members of the department, and ensure contractors’ workers also comply. Supervise and control the appropriate use of basic utilities (electricity, water, gas, petroleum, etc.) to minimize associated costs. Maintain accurate records of all processes related to general maintenance of the unit and issue required or requested reports in a timely manner to Store Management and Central Operations. Follow instructions from the immediate supervisor. Carry out all other duties not explicitly listed in this job description but inherent to the position. Ensure adequate continuous coverage within the unit while keeping the team motivated. Develop and train personnel under supervision to improve work quality and productivity, as well as enhance their capacity to respond to emergency situations. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Completed technical or university education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. * 1–2 years of experience as a maintenance assistant or in similar roles (including internships). * Basic English proficiency (desirable). * Knowledge of electronics, air conditioning systems, and industrial safety. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Familiarity with electrical measurement tools (desirable). * Knowledge of general services (desirable). * Availability to work 100% on-site under a 5x2 work regime. * Experience leading teams (desirable). **Selection Process** ------------------------ The selection process is conducted via Aira—a recruitment platform designed to enhance your application experience.
