Job Summary:
Mechanical technician responsible for repairing malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, working with fluid systems, replacing spare parts, and aligning machinery using workshop tools.

Repairing mechanical failures: Disassembling, fixing, and reassembling machine parts when they malfunction or jam.
Performing preventive maintenance: Inspecting, cleaning, adjusting, and lubricating (applying oil/grease) equipment according to the scheduled calendar to prevent breakdowns.
Working with fluid systems: Detecting and correcting leaks in hydraulic (pressurized oil) and pneumatic (compressed air) systems of presses or pistons.
Replacing worn-out spare parts: Substituting bearings (belts), belts, chains, seals, sprockets, and pumps that have reached the end of their service life.
Aligning and leveling machinery: Installing or moving machines to ensure perfect alignment so they neither vibrate nor wear out prematurely.
Using workshop tools: Fabricating or adapting small components using tools such as drills, grinders, basic welding equipment, or lathes if necessary.
