We are currently recruiting personnel to fill the position of **MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE OPERATOR** to join our team. **Job Objective** Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on equipment and facilities at the emulsion plant, contributing to operational continuity, safety, and efficiency of production processes. **Requirements:** * Education: Graduated technical technician, technical student, or completed secondary education with training in Maintenance Mechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields. * Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year in industrial mechanical maintenance, workshops, or production plants. Pre-professional or professional internships related to the field will be considered. * Knowledge: Basic mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment; centrifugal pumps and pumping systems; replacement of mechanical seals and packing; basic maintenance of industrial valves; basic alignment of couplings and pulleys; use of mechanical tools and measuring instruments; lubrication of industrial equipment; Occupational Health and Safety standards applicable to industrial maintenance. * Must reside in Paita, Piura **Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance activities according to the established schedule. * Conduct periodic inspections of pumps, valves, transmission systems, and other plant equipment. * Assist in disassembly, repair, and assembly of mechanical equipment. * Replace mechanical seals, packing, and wear components as required. * Verify proper operation of pumps, valves, and auxiliary plant equipment. * Identify and report failures, leaks, or unsafe conditions that may affect operations. * Maintain work areas clean and organized before, during, and after interventions. * Record performed maintenance activities and report incidents to the immediate supervisor. * Comply with Occupational Health and Safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment. * Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. **Work Schedule:** * Monday to Friday: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm * Saturday: 7:30 am to 1:00 pm **Benefits:** * Competitive market-based salary. * Direct payroll registration. * Statutory benefits (CTS, bonus, vacation, profit sharing, family allowance). * Timely payments. * Overtime pay.
