We are seeking an SSOMA Manager to lead the implementation and management of Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management Systems in a metal-mechanical company.

We are searching for top talent to join our team as SSOMA MANAGER. We are a metal-mechanical company dedicated to the production and development of pumps, hydrocyclones, nests, and other metal-mechanical products, with over 47 years in the market.
**What profile are we looking for?**
\- Bachelor's degree or professional title in Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), or related fields (MANDATORY)
\- Minimum 2 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health within industrial sector companies (MANDATORY)
\- Solid knowledge of 5S implementation and solid waste management (MANDATORY)
\- 1 year of experience in the industrial or mining sector (DESIRABLE)
\- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards (DESIRABLE)
\- Residency in areas adjacent to HUACHIPA (DESIRABLE)
\- Specialized SSOMA training courses and knowledge of Law No. 29783 (VALUABLE)
**What will be your objective?**
To lead the implementation and management of Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management Systems (SSOMA), ensuring compliance with current Peruvian regulations and international standards. Additionally, you must ensure a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment by minimizing occupational risks, protecting employee health, and promoting environmentally responsible practices to support the company’s sustainable growth.
**What will be your main challenges?**
\- Ensure planning and implementation of compliance with applicable legal regulations in safety, occupational health, and environmental management
\- Organize and lead 5S committees, accident prevention committees, rescue brigades, and drills for accidents and disasters
\- Solid knowledge of Law No. 29783, Supreme Decree No. 005-2012-TR, and 42F
\- Supervise high-risk tasks and inspect work areas
\- Prepare SSOMA reports (daily, weekly, and monthly)
\- Manage emergencies, incidents, and accidents (prevention, investigation, and closure)
\- Update the Risk Map, IPERC matrix, and all minimum legal requirements
\- Promote a culture of occupational risk prevention
\- Develop and implement the annual Safety and Occupational Health Plan and Program
\- Conduct 5-minute safety talks
\- Ensure delivery and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each staff member according to their position
\- Execute and monitor environmental management topics
\- Lead Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) committee meetings
\- Ensure execution and updating of Employee Medical Occupational Surveillance (EMOS)

**Working hours:**
\- Monday to Friday: 7:15 AM to 4:15 PM
\- Two Saturdays per month: 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM
Employment type: Full-time
Salary: Starting at S/.2,500.00 per month
