Advanced training in Machine Learning and Artificial Vision models At the **Institute for Engineering Training (ICI)**, we are looking for an **AI Specialist Instructor for Geological Engineering** to record a specialized course of **10 instructional hours**, delivered asynchronously. **Mode:** Remote / Self-paced recording (Asynchronous). **Course Duration:** 10 recorded academic hours. **Honorarium:** S/ 150.00 per taught/recorded hour (Total course fee: S/ 1,500.00). **Contract Type:** Service agreement / Professional honorarium. **Course Objective:** To train participants in the application of Machine Learning, Artificial Vision, and Image Processing models for geological exploration, interpretation of geochemical/geophysical data, automated core logging, and predictive resource estimation. **Requirements:** * **Qualification:** Geological Engineer, registered and licensed (a Master’s degree or specialization in Geostatistics/AI/Data Science is desirable). * **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in exploration, mining geology, or geological modeling using analytical tools. * **Software to be used:** Proficiency with open-source software (*QGIS, Python, Google Colab, Orange*) or possession of a commercial license (*e.g., Leapfrog, ArcGIS, Micromine*) for practical workshops. * **Skills:** Excellent verbal fluency, clear exposition, and methodological mastery for recorded classes. * **Equipment:** High-performance laptop/PC, clear microphone, and screen recording software (*e.g., OBS Studio or Camtasia*). **Proposed Course Structure (10 Hours):** * **Module 1 (2h):** Preparation of geological data and Introduction to ML (*QGIS / Python / Orange*). * **Module 2 (2h):** Satellite and remote sensing image processing for exploration targeting. * **Module 3 (2h):** Artificial Vision (CNN) for automated core logging and structural feature detection. * **Module 4 (2h):** Clustering and Machine Learning in Geochemistry and Geophysics. * **Module 5 (2h):** Predictive grade/domain estimation and Generative AI for geological reporting. **What We Offer:** * Timely payment upon validation of recorded classes. * Certification as an instructor of the Institute for Engineering Training. * Ongoing opportunities for developing high-value educational content.
