Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Waiter with bar knowledge to provide personalized service, perform suggestive selling, and support operations at a meat and grill restaurant. Opportunity to develop expertise in specialized gastronomy. **GourMeat**, a specialized meat and grill restaurant located in **Chacarilla – San Borja**, is looking for a **Waiter with basic bar knowledge** to join our team. What are we looking for? * Proven experience as a **waiter in restaurants**. * Preferably, experience in **meat and grill restaurants**. * Experience in **suggestive selling**, and ability to recommend dishes and products to customers. * Basic knowledge of **meat cuts and cooking terms**. * Basic knowledge of **wines**. * Basic knowledge of **bar operations and beverage preparation**. * Experience using **restaurant/POS systems**, preferably **Restaurante.pe**. * Excellent customer service skills, friendliness, and strong communication abilities. * Speed, initiative, and ability to work under pressure. * **Professional appearance and elegant demeanor**, aligned with GourMeat’s brand identity. Main Responsibilities: * Providing personalized customer service and advice. * Taking and entering orders into the system. * Performing suggestive selling and recommending dishes, meats, and beverages. * Setting up and clearing tables. * Maintaining the dining area clean, organized, and properly presented. * Assisting at the bar and preparing beverages as needed. * Properly following service protocols and customer service standards.
