**Responsibilities and Authorities**
### **Enterprise Architecture**
* Define, maintain, and evolve MAPFRE's Enterprise Architecture.
* Manage architecture across its various domains:
* Business Architecture.
* Application Architecture.
* Data Architecture.
* Technology Architecture.
* Define the current —As\-Is— and target —To\-Be— architectures.
* Establish architectural principles, policies, standards, and guidelines.
* Ensure alignment between business strategy and technology strategy.
* Define patterns for reuse of capabilities, components, and services.
* Identify redundancies, obsolescence, and opportunities for technological simplification.
### **Architecture Governance**
* Lead enterprise architecture governance.
* Coordinate and participate in the Architecture Review Board.
* Evaluate and approve architecture decisions with corporate impact.
* Analyze the impact of new initiatives on existing architecture.
* Define architectural compliance criteria.
* Identify risks, dependencies, and technical debt.
* Establish mechanisms to control exceptions to technological standards.
* Promote a consistent, sustainable architecture aligned with corporate priorities.
### **Technology Roadmap and Transformation**
* Lead the definition and updating of MAPFRE's technology roadmap.
* Translate corporate strategy into technological capabilities and projects.
* Lead digital transformation initiatives.
* Coordinate application modernization initiatives.
* Define cloud migration and adoption strategy together with specialized architects.
* Align the Journey to Cloud with the target architecture.
* Evaluate scenarios for platform evolution, replacement, consolidation, or retirement.
* Contribute to application portfolio rationalization.
### **Portfolio and Enterprise Integration**
* Lead application portfolio rationalization.
* Identify redundant, obsolete, or high-risk applications.
* Define guidelines for APIs, integration, security, and data.
* Evaluate dependencies among applications, capabilities, and platforms.
* Promote interoperability and service reuse.
* Ensure consistency of architectural decisions across initiatives.
* Coordinate with Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Security, Data, and development teams.
### **Strategic Management and Executive Communication**
* Present architectural recommendations to senior leadership.
* Communicate impacts, risks, investments, and benefits of technological decisions.
* Facilitate decision-making between business and technology areas.
* Manage stakeholder expectations.
* Exert cross-functional influence without relying on direct hierarchical authority.
* Ensure technological decisions address real business needs.
