Company Overview Anglo American, in partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation, is developing the Quellaveco mining operation — one of the world’s largest copper deposits — located in the Moquegua region in southern Peru. Quellaveco has a 30-year reserve life. It will use open-pit mining and flotation processes to produce copper concentrates, as well as molybdenum and silver as by-products. Quellaveco is expected to produce an average of 300,000 tonnes of copper per year during its first 10 years of operation. Job Description At Anglo American Quellaveco, we are seeking a **Master Data Advisor** for our **Supply Chain** team, on a maternity leave coverage basis. The role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, traceability, standardization, and continuous maintenance of Supply Chain master data (materials, services, suppliers, contracts), enabling smooth, safe, and reliable ERP system operations and analytical reporting, and facilitating data-driven decision-making based on accurate information. **Primary Responsibilities** * Manage master data by updating and validating information in SAP. * Maintain and govern supplier data. * Manage contracts and associated structures, verifying correct loading and classification of contracts. * Coordinate with Legal and Contracts teams to maintain consistent records. * Oversee data governance and internal controls. Develop and implement controls to prevent duplication, errors, or inconsistencies in master data. * Participate in internal and external audits related to data quality. * Document procedures, roles, and approval workflows. * Support digital transformation and BI initiatives. * Collaborate to ensure reports and dashboards reflect reliable master data. * Support data migrations and validation of structures in new systems. **SHE Responsibilities** * Know and apply Anglo American Quellaveco’s SHE values, principles, and policy, contributing to its vision of zero harm. * Comply with, and ensure compliance with, legal requirements and other commitments assumed by Anglo American Quellaveco, as well as internal Management System standards, procedures, and regulations; and attend training, awareness, and Zero Harm culture development sessions. * Ensure that control measures for identified SHE hazards and risks are implemented at the workplace to enable safe work execution. * Promptly report unsafe acts and conditions, as well as incidents. * Ensure continuous improvement in Safety, Health, and Environmental Management. Requirements **Education and Language** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Systems, or Commerce. * Intermediate English level (mandatory). **Professional Experience** * Minimum three (3) years of experience in data governance, master data management, and application development (Power BI, AI, SQL, etc.). * Experience in the areas mentioned above will be valued. Prior mining sector experience is not mandatory, as we seek talent from diverse industries and professional backgrounds. **SHE Competencies** * Knowledge and experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental Management, considering applicable legal regulations for the mining sector. * Knowledge and experience in incident investigation. * Knowledge and experience in identifying SHE hazards and risks and proposing effective controls.
