**Key Information:**
Team: Mining Operations
Location: Apurímac \- Peru
Experience Level: Three years in mining sector operations and/or management of fuel storage and transportation plant operations.
Minimum one year of experience managing work teams
Work Type: On-site – Las Bambas Mining Operation
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Coordinate, plan, and supervise daily field fuel supply activities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with technical standards, current operational procedures, and contractual KPIs.
* Monitor adherence to Written Safe Work Procedures (WSWPs) and take corrective actions upon deviations.
* Ensure compliance with Safety, Environment, and Quality (SE&Q) plans through inspections, Planned Task Observations (PTOs), incident investigations, Written Permits for High-Risk Work (WPHRWs), and other documents required by Supreme Decree 024\-2016\-EM and its amendments.
* Manage documentation, permits, protocols, and reports required by the client, company, or regulatory authorities.
* Supervise safe and efficient fuel transfers and dispatches.
* Implement the Operations Work Plan: flowmeter calibration, benchmark (BM) verification, validity of tank truck and tanker truck capacity tables, temperature studies, lock seals, and security seals.
* Ensure compliance with distribution, supply, and stock control programs by validating physical and digital records and reconciling them with billing data.
* Manage fuel inventory: daily supervision, reconciliations, restocking, consumption analysis, and closing.
* Conduct differential flow/pressure monitoring, tank analyses and sampling, closings, and transit volume variations.
* Verify daily plant and transit variations; prepare reports and implement corrective actions, submitting daily reports and a consolidated monthly report.
* Supervise sales and tank temperature behavior, applying corrective actions upon deviations.
* Verify compliance with rest periods, drainage, water cuts, and withdrawn volumes in tanks.
* Ensure implementation of the flowmeter and equipment calibration plan according to the periodicity established in the mining company contract.
* Responsible for assigning resources, instruments, and materials: winches, thermometers, densimeters, flowmeters, rags, detergents, etc.
* Monitor self-consumption of operational units (km/gal, hr/gal) and validate CRC and Mobile Fuel Station valuations.
* Ensure availability and operability of equipment, tools, CRCs, IT systems, and vehicles.
* Review cleanliness, painting, and general condition of route tankers, internal distribution tankers, and mobile fuel stations on a daily basis.
* Coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance plans (validation of Service Orders, evidence, % completion).
* Supervise and train assigned technical and operational personnel for Mining Operations, and manage vacation scheduling and incident reporting.
* Monitor and validate records for subcontracted field distribution tankers.
* Monitor Training Plan implementation and ensure compliance (monthly KPIs): preparation and delivery of operational, quality, and safety briefings.
* Issue daily operational closure reports to the mining client.
* Support continuous improvement and implementation of the Integrated Management System, including document updates, audits, goals, and objectives.
* Participate in operational meetings, audits, strategic reviews, and evaluation of improvement proposals with internal and external clients.

**You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:**
* Academic Qualification: Degree-holding, licensed, and registered professional in Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other disciplines related to fuel supply operations in mining environments.
* Experience: Three years of work experience in mining sector operations and/or management of fuel storage and transportation plant operations. One year of experience managing work teams.
* Valid driver’s license A1 or A2B, held for at least three years.
Knowledge
* Solid knowledge of industrial safety is required, as well as intermediate-level Excel proficiency and Power BI user-level proficiency.
* Experience driving vehicles with manual transmission and 4x4 traction.
