The resort enjoys the tranquillity of a 1\.2 km nationally protected coral bay and is spread out over 12 hectares of lush tropical bloom overlooking the warm, soothing waters of the South China Sea. **About the job** The Room Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for efficiently carrying out maintenance of guest room and related facilities, while ensuring that standards and safety procedures are adhered to. The Room Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Duty Engineering. **As Room Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:** * To check the room maintenance plan and quality. * To assist in formulating bill of materials to accomplish tasks. * To assist in maintaining adequate inventory of general building maintenance. * To check the hotel area fine decoration equipment and arrange maintenance plan and its implementation. * To execute all works assigned by work order center and engineering office. * To assist and supervise all works carried out by contractor. * To make all architectural repairs to the building as per assignments or on own initiative, ensuring all work meets the local codes. * To conduct inspection to the building as schedule and give advice of conditions which might affect the operation of the hotel as well as any potential safety hazards? * Assist in the construction of exhibits and displays as assigned. * Perform all other duties which may be assigned by the Chief engineer or any other authorized engineer. * To maintain clean work place \& storage area. * To strictly adhere to fire and life safety regulations. * To perform assigned task under emergency situations. * Maintain all tools and equipment properly **As Room Maintenance Supervisor, we expect from you:** * Holder of relevant certificate * Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience with similar position * Basic computer skills * Operational experience from other hotel divisions or similar industry desirable * Good communication skills **Our commitment to you** * Learning \& Development.
