End-to-end management of high-impact projects and continuous improvement **POSITION MISSION:** Lead, control, and optimize production and maintenance improvement processes across operations (mine/plant), driving the implementation of operational reliability strategies, integrated cost control, and continuous improvement to ensure the effectiveness of cross-functional improvement initiatives across operations (mine/plant), continuously striving to surpass production, cost, and quality targets through efficiency-focused operational strategies implemented jointly with the Integrated Operations Superintendent and the Integrated Planning Superintendent. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Lead, plan, and control the integration/deployment of production and maintenance improvement actions across operations (mine/plant) by applying advanced techniques (Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Mine-to-Mill (M2M) approach, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma)) and analytical tools (modeling, simulation, and optimization) based on finite element, statistical, stochastic, and phenomenological methods. * Lead, plan, and control complex value-chain data evaluation processes, identifying improvement opportunities through analysis of constraints and structural inefficiencies (bottlenecks). * Lead, plan, and control high-investment, high-technological/operational-impact projects related to production and maintenance across operations (mine/plant), coordinating required actions with key involved departments and presenting business cases/cost-saving models/project progress reports under their management. * Lead, plan, and control the implementation of an integrated operational reliability strategy across operations (mine/plant) by applying advanced methodologies such as Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Reliability-Centered Spares (RCS), and predictive modeling. * Lead, control, and optimize budget management (OPEX/CAPEX), operation/maintenance contracts, and integrated cost control across operations (mine/plant), including execution program control during plant shutdowns. * Lead expert-level reviews of operational and maintenance practices across operations (mine/plant), evaluating external standards (benchmarking), industry best practices, and applicable emerging technologies. * Manage the development, issuance, and presentation of required reports to the parent company regarding operational, technological, and maintenance plans, deviations, and projects. * Lead implementation of required actions to deploy the integrated operations management strategy per guidelines established by the Production Directorate. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to construct, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper mega-project. Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine fully executed and developed from inception overseas by a Chinese enterprise. It is located in the Morococha District, Yauli Province, Junín Department, at over 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 metric tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important enterprises within China Copper and CHINALCO’s largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary.
