If you have the qualities and motivation to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level. **Job Description:** **Job Summary** This position impacts the organization by assembly inspection to include dimensional/positional accuracy. **Responsibilities:*** Inspects and reports on manufacturing quality. * Inspects incoming materials, packaging and labeling components, work\-in\-process and final products using basic inspection gauging. * Initiates rejection reports for non\-conforming materials. * Ensures proper completion of required documentation in accordance with departmental, GMP, and ISO requirements. * Performs activities in Quality Control department such as incoming, CQA and final product inspections. * Drives process changes, reports on quality metrics and ensures proactive measures are taken to achieve quality goals. * Documents quality issues and performance measures for management review. * Documents corrective actions and tracks subsequent follow\-up activities. * Prepares and presents quality status and performance improvements. * Initiates rejection reports for non\-conforming materials. * Identifies and champions resolution of quality issues. **Qualifications:*** High school diploma, GED or equivalent * Demonstrated strong math skills without a calculator * Minimum of two years’ experience with inspecting mechanical parts and assemblies **Employee Type:** Permanent UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
