Job Description Mission: Collaborate and support in the projects carried out by their unit/department, according to the guidelines provided by their supervisor, in order to execute the assigned tasks to meet project needs. They are responsible for the execution of construction contracts. They plan, optimize, and supervise the use of resources to ensure that construction works are completed on time, according to specifications, and within established costs. Among their most common functions are: managing contracts and obtaining required permits and licenses, preparing budget estimates, planning and scheduling construction phases, supervising the activities of subcontractors and subordinate or labor personnel, verifying achieved progress and work quality throughout all project phases, representing the company in relevant matters. Candidate Requirements At ACCIONA, for our industrial business, we are seeking a Cost Engineer for our transmission lines and substations project in Cajabamba, Cajamarca: Required Profile: Education:* Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields. Experience:* Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles and 5 years of professional experience. * Proficiency in any cost control software. Additional Knowledge:* Advanced knowledge of Excel. * Intermediate – Advanced Primavera P6 (not exclusive) Availability to relocate to Cajamarca under non-standard work schedule. Responsibilities:* Analyze costs applied in each operational phase. * Analyze and process information regarding project progress and balances. * Prepare calculations of actual and projected costs. * Prepare the Monthly Cost Report (MCR). * Prepare the Project Cash Flow. * Prepare Project Forecasts (Official and Interim). * Prepare Provisions. * Prepare Subcontractor Valuations. * Monitor and control project costs. * Prepare periodic reports (daily/weekly) ACCIONA has received the Top Employer 2024 and 2025 certification.
