This role must combine **architecture expertise and practical development capability**. We do not seek a purely theoretical architect: the candidate must have prior experience as a developer and retain the ability to review, modify, and write code when required by the initiative. The objective is to reduce production risks, accelerate delivery of reliable solutions, and ensure traceability between requirements, architecture, implementation, and deployment. **Key Responsibilities** * Serve as the primary technical point of contact for new initiatives. * Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technology solutions. * Design end-to-end solution architectures. * Create architecture diagrams using Visio, Draw.io, or other tools. * Define impacted components, dependencies, integrations, and technical contracts. * Design APIs, integrations, and communication standards between applications. * Support development teams during implementation. * Maintain hands\-on capability to review, modify, and develop code. * Participate in defining cloud components and technical configurations on AWS and Azure. * Assess technological impact, risks, costs, and constraints of solutions. * Define quality attributes: performance, availability, security, scalability, resilience, and maintainability. * Validate compliance with architecture, security, DevSecOps, and governance standards. * Participate in Architecture Review Boards and high-risk change reviews. * Support the Emergency Change Gate when applicable. * Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture when cross-cutting impact exists. * Ensure traceability between requirements, architecture, code, testing, and deployment. * Participate in user acceptance testing and resolve technical observations. * Prepare monthly effort, hour, and cost estimates per activity or project. * Define minimum deliverables and acceptance criteria. * Report progress, risks, dependencies, and results weekly and monthly. **Team or Squad Specializations** The professional may join one or more of the following domains: * Enterprise Architecture. * Solutions Architecture. * Cloud Architecture. * Observability and Technology Monitoring. * Observability Leadership. * FinOps and Cloud Cost Optimization. * FinAuth, security, identity, and financial or technological authorization. * DevSecOps and automation of controls. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Essential Technical Requirements** **Development and Hands\-on Capability** * Proven experience as a software developer. * Current ability to program, review code, and resolve technical issues. * Experience with APIs, integrations, and enterprise services. * Proficiency in design patterns and development best practices. **Architecture** * Software architecture. * Enterprise architecture. * Cloud architecture. * Microservices. * Application and platform integrations. * API and technical contract design. * DevSecOps. * Clean architecture, SOLID principles, and domain-driven design. * Evaluation of quality attributes and technological risks. **Cloud** * Practical experience working directly with **AWS**. * Practical experience working directly with **Azure**. * Ability to modify, configure, and interact with cloud services. * Understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, compute, storage, databases, and monitoring. * Evaluation of availability, scalability, resilience, and costs. **Tools and Platforms** * Azure DevOps. * Jira. * Git. * Swagger / OpenAPI. * Postman. * SonarQube. * Visio. * Draw.io. * Kubernetes (desirable). * Observability and monitoring tools (desirable). * FinOps and cloud consumption control tools (desirable). **5\. Desirable Certifications** * Azure Solutions Architect Expert. * AWS Solutions Architect Associate or higher. * Kubernetes. * TOGAF Foundation. * ITIL Foundation. * DevSecOps certifications. * Observability certifications. * FinOps certifications. **6\. Required Experience** **General Experience** * Minimum **6 years of software development experience**. * Subsequent or progressive experience in solution design and architecture. * Experience with microservices, APIs, integrations, cloud architecture, and DevSecOps. * Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including development, security, infrastructure, data, and business. **Industry Experience** Candidates with experience in the following sectors will be prioritized: * **Insurance sector**, especially in highly complex companies. * Financial and banking sector. * Service companies. * Technology companies. * Telecommunications and communications sector. Experience in large-scale corporations or market-leading local enterprises—such as insurers or leading financial institutions—is desirable. Local talent available for hybrid on-site work will be prioritized. **7\. Functional and Business Requirements** * Ability to communicate fluently with business users and technical teams. * Understanding of processes, functional workflows, and operational needs. * Ability to translate business requirements into architectural decisions. * Ability to explain alternatives, risks, costs, and technical constraints. * Skill in negotiating solution decisions with technical and functional areas. * Experience structuring deliverables, time and cost estimates. * Ability to prioritize and deliver results incrementally. **8\.
