Position Summary:
A leading company in the timber industry is seeking an Accounting Analyst to manage and review accounting entries, perform closings and provisions, and conduct reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manages and reviews accounting entries for purchases, sales, banks, and payroll
2. Performs payroll closing and provisioning of payroll-related obligations
3. Prepares financial statements and analyzes accounting accounts
A national leader in the timber industry specializing in door manufacturing is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of **Accounting Analyst**.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree or university title in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Valid professional registration (preferred).
* Diploma in Cost Accounting or Taxation.
* Minimum of 3–4 years of progressive experience in similar Accounting Analyst roles, preferably within logistics and warehousing companies.
* Proficiency in Spring system (preferred).
* Must reside in areas adjacent to Pachacamac\-Manchay.
**Responsibilities:**
* Record and review accounting entries for purchases, sales, banks, and payroll, ensuring compliance with the General Accounting Framework (PCGE) and IFRS/IAS.
* Perform closing and provisioning of payroll-related payable obligations (e.g., bonuses, CTS, vacations, and severance payments).
* Reconcile electronic invoicing portal records with vouchers generated and stored in the ERP.
* Review and consolidate physical documentation for each import file; validate receipt of goods at the destination warehouse.
* Generate and validate cost calculation for nationally imported products.
* Approve and generate accounting entries for finance leases, sale-and-leaseback transactions, sureties, guarantees, and premiums.
* Review bank reconciliation of current accounts against bank statements.
* Review sales vouchers according to SUNAT guidelines.
* Generate and validate Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Journal, General Ledger, and other books in PLE and SIRE formats.
* Preparation of Financial Statements (FS)
* Analyze accounting accounts at month-end closing and prepare FS annexes.
* Manage compensations for specific third-party receivables and payables.
* Manage cash flow and monitor income and expenses for financial management.
