Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining control of the explosives magazine, inventories of explosives and raw materials, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting blasting operations. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive control and management of the explosives magazine and explosives. 2. Support in blasting operations and borehole preparation. 3. Operation of light equipment and unloading of materials. **Role Objective:** Maintain control of the explosives magazine within its storage facility in accordance with established regulations. If necessary and authorized, transport products to the blasting area. **Main Responsibilities:** * Conduct inventory control. * Monitor the receipt and dispatch of explosives and raw materials. * Maintain stock control and reconciliation of the explosives magazine. * Keep records and sign withdrawal vouchers for explosives. * Maintain order in the explosives magazine in accordance with current regulations. * Transport products from the explosives magazine to the blasting area. * Operate light equipment (pickup trucks). * Prepare and inspect equipment before and after use. * Unload materials and supplies from the cargo vehicle. * Perform measurement, priming, tying, and loading support for boreholes when required. * Support borehole stemming operations when required. * Support detonator programming. * Support unloading of raw materials and explosives at site and at the explosives magazine. **Requirements:** * Preferably 1 year of experience managing explosives magazines. * Preferably completed secondary education and/or incomplete technical training. * Preferably hold a Class AIIB driver's license.
