Job Summary: The Delivery Driver is responsible for operating the distribution vehicle, ensuring orders are delivered under optimal conditions and coordinating with the Delivery Assistant. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure order deliveries are made under optimal conditions and delivery routes are followed. 2. Monitor the cold chain and comply with food safety protocols. 3. Coordinate with the logistics team for efficient route execution. The Delivery Driver is responsible for operating the distribution vehicle, ensuring orders are transported under optimal conditions to their final destination. They are responsible for vehicle safety, adherence to delivery routes, and maintaining the cold chain for transported products. Additionally, they coordinate directly with the Delivery Assistant, who assists in cargo loading/unloading, documentation, and delivery reporting. **Main Responsibilities:** * Operate the delivery vehicle in compliance with traffic and safety regulations. * Execute assigned routes to ensure timely deliveries. * Optimize transit times and support route planning. * Verify the vehicle's condition and documentation daily. * Coordinate preventive maintenance and fuel supply. * Monitor the cold chain (temperature and refrigeration system). * Comply with food safety and handling protocols. * Report incidents, delays, or mechanical failures. * Coordinate with the logistics team for correct route execution. **Requirements:** * Education: Completed secondary education. * Experience: Minimum 2 years as a delivery driver or in goods transportation. * License: Valid and appropriate for the vehicle type. * Certifications: Health certificate, GMP or food handling certification. * Availability to work on holidays. **Location:** Chorrillos Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,700.00 - S/.2,200.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
