Job Summary:
Plan, execute, and coordinate national and international procurement activities; manage suppliers; and optimize import logistics processes for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manages national and international procurement and import processes.
2. Negotiates with suppliers and optimizes price and quality terms.
3. Supervises the supply chain and import documentation.
Procurement and Import Coordinator Responsibilities
* Plan and execute national and international procurement in accordance with company requirements.
* Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimal price, quality, and delivery terms.
* Request and compare quotations for product acquisition.
* Issue purchase orders and track their execution.
* Coordinate the import process with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics operators.
* Monitor adherence to shipment, transit, and customs clearance schedules for goods.
* Verify and control import documentation (invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, certificates, among others).
* Coordinate with customs brokers for timely cargo clearance.
* Control import costs (freight, insurance, duties, warehousing, and other associated expenses).
* Maintain up-to-date records of national and international suppliers.
* Coordinate with the warehouse department for the receipt and intake of imported goods.
* Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment.
* Prepare procurement and import reports and KPIs for management.
* Identify cost-saving and process optimization opportunities in procurement and logistics.
* Ensure compliance with current regulations related to foreign trade and imports.
* Maintain continuous communication with sales, warehouse, logistics, and accounting departments to ensure operational continuity.
Salary: S/.1,556\.80 \- S/.2,000\.00 per month
