Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic student to learn and support an electronics workshop, engaging in manufacturing, repair, and AI-driven projects. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity for career growth within the business based on performance A workshop-based store specializing in electronics (batteries, electronics, manufacturing and assembly projects, and repairs) and technology product sales is seeking a part-time assistant, preferably a student pursuing a technical or university degree in a related field (electronics, mechatronics, systems, industrial engineering, or similar), with strong motivation to learn. Prior work experience is not required: we will train you. Work will involve supporting an experienced electronics engineer in El Cercado, Arequipa. What will you do? Your primary role is to learn and assist in the workshop: battery assembly and repair from individual cells, soldering, bench work, electronics project assembly, and tool handling. Additionally, you will participate in projects involving AI-assisted programming (Claude), automation, and digital business tools — an excellent opportunity to gain practical AI working experience. You will also assist in technology product sales and customer service at a small internet cabin (low traffic), perform general workshop tasks, and maintain shop order and cleanliness at the end of each shift. We are looking for someone who: Is a student in a related field (electronics, mechatronics, systems, industrial engineering, or similar). Preferred but not mandatory if strong interest is demonstrated. Has strong enthusiasm for learning a technical trade and working with AI tools (most important). Has basic knowledge of or interest in programming (no expertise required; you’ll learn using AI). Is responsible, honest, and reliable. Demonstrates a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills with customers. Has stable part-time availability. Is careful, organized, and clean when handling tools and workspace.
