Job Summary: Fiber Optic Installation Technician responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining residential telecommunications services, ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Highlights: 1. Installation and configuration of fiber optic services at residential premises 2. Maintenance and troubleshooting of technical issues in fiber optic services 3. Customer service and daily work reporting FIBER OPTIC INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN – FIELD We are FEBEZA, a contractor company for Claro, operating in the telecommunications sector. We are currently seeking proactive, responsible, and committed individuals for the position of Fiber Optic Installation Technician. Responsibilities: - Installation of fiber optic services at customers' residences. - External and internal cabling (pole mounting, ducting, and service drop). - Installation and setup of equipment (ONT, router, etc.). - Configuration, programming, and activation of services. - Verification of proper operation (signal testing, speed tests, and connectivity checks). - Customer service during installation, providing basic service instructions. - Performing maintenance and resolving technical faults. - Compliance with safety protocols and proper use of PPE. - Reporting completed work and closing daily service orders. Requirements: - Experience in fiber optic or telecommunications installations (preferred). - Basic knowledge of cabling, networking, or electricity. - Availability for fieldwork. - Availability to work Monday through Saturday. - Responsibility, punctuality, and commitment.
