




Position Summary: Ensure the development, management, and quality of data analysis tools and databases for socioeconomic studies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Contribute to the development and implementation of data management tools. 2. Develop, manage, and analyze social survey databases. 3. Support training on the use of survey tools. **Role Objective:** Ensure the development, management, and quality of data analysis tools, as well as database management, within the framework of socioeconomic studies led by Insuco LAC. **Main Responsibilities:** **R1: Contribute to the development and implementation of protocols and tools for managing quantitative social data.** * Accompany and/or lead data collection across various operations, defining and validating tools with local offices. * Design and/or implement database management and quality control protocols for field-based socioeconomic surveys (e.g., social impact studies, social baselines, asset inventories). * Ensure data processing and formatting using the internal Python toolkit, guaranteeing consistency and integrity of all outputs. **R2: Develop, manage, and analyze databases resulting from field-based social surveys.** * Support technical teams in implementing their projects on social data management platforms. * Ensure preparation of periodic reports jointly with technical teams. * Prepare data analyses and results, and verify their accuracy. **R3: Support training for consultants, Insuco permanent staff, and interviewers on the use of survey tools.** * Train consultants and surveyors, and supervise the conduct of quantitative socioeconomic surveys. * Ensure efficient use and expansion of the internal social data management platform. * Establish a network of external consultants and contact points for data management to support local offices. **R4: Monitor technological solutions and tools.** * Monitor existing digital solutions for data management and visualization. * Support teams in managing and updating their digital equipment. **Requirements:** **Academic Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics, or related fields. * Master’s degree in Social Sciences with a quantitative focus, Information Systems, or Statistics. **Experience:** At least 3 years of experience in similar roles. **Languages:** Advanced English proficiency is mandatory. **Specific Knowledge:** Data processing tools (Python), data collection tools (Open Data Kit), database management (SQL) **Location:** Based in Peru or Ecuador **ABOUT INSUCO** Insuco is an independent international consulting firm specializing in applied social sciences and sustainability.
