Our people make the difference in our success. **Type of Contract:** Determined / Eventual Period Contract (fixed-term) **What are we looking for?** **Responsibilities:** Strategy and Management * Define the design strategy for creating interaction scenarios, taking into account user needs, stakeholders, scope, objectives, acceptance criteria, and specifications of the assigned project(s) to apply this knowledge in defining the user experience. * Plan and self-manage the execution of design tasks for the requested product and/or service, strategically considering the achievement of experience KPIs. * Articulate design decisions to stakeholders, understanding both business and user needs, ensuring a positive experience in all proposals delivered. Execution and Measurement * Develop and justify design deliverables such as interaction flows, content/navigation maps, journey maps, among others, necessary to understand user interaction with the product and/or service. Additionally, you may be asked to conduct user interviews or apply other methodologies to gain deeper user insights. * Develop and justify design outputs such as wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, among others, required to define interface characteristics adapted to the channel and target user. * Analyze and synthesize information structures to clearly and coherently define the proposal's architecture. * Adapt solution proposals based on customer-identified improvement opportunities and/or stakeholder requirements, always positively impacting the user experience. * Collaborate with the Visual Designer and Design QA in project reviews prior to delivering assets to the Development team. * Participate with the Project Design Lead in validation meetings for each feature with other stakeholders. Communication & Partnership * In coordination with the UX & Design System Manager, participate in specialty-related tasks, contributing to the creation and updating of materials aimed at knowledge management and promoting awareness of best practices within the specialty. * Maintain constant communication with the Visual Design Manager and UX & Design System Manager regarding coordination and proposals on initiatives and best practices for using BBVA’s Design System. * Participate in weekly specialty meetings to address challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and/or share achievements and best practices in UX Design. * Attend status meetings with the Project Design Lead and team members of each assigned project. * Collaborate on global projects with UX Designers from other regions to design coherent and locally adapted flows and components. * Participate in retrospective sessions with the specialty lead. Transformation & Innovation * Ensure the application of usability and experience best practices at both specialty and discipline levels, as well as the correct use of components and patterns defined in the Global Design System. * Identify improvements in the interaction design process and drive initiatives to be shared with all members of the specialty and the Design team. * Participate in specialty-related tasks, contributing to the creation and updating of materials for managing UX Design knowledge. * Support the Senior UX & Design System Manager in producing new versions of protocols and materials that guide best practices within the specialty. * Stay up to date, continuously challenge yourself, share knowledge, and propose improvements in user experience design. Advisory & Facilitation * Support onboarding of new external profiles related to the specialty. * Assist the UX Design Lead and the Design Transformation team in knowledge-sharing activities and dissemination of best practices during Design CoP episodes and other relevant events. * Support the UX Design Lead in facilitating specialty training sessions when necessary. * Share documentation aligned with the challenges and objectives of the specialty with team members and relevant stakeholders.
