Learn to manage projects in demanding environments **Role Description** At **Prográmate**, we are looking for a **Junior Technical Manager** to help support the execution of technology projects from an operational perspective. This role is critical to ensuring projects progress in an orderly manner, aligning technical and business teams, and maintaining constant visibility into the status of each initiative. We seek a candidate with a technical background, sound judgment, and strong enthusiasm to learn how real-world projects are managed in demanding environments (e.g., mining, industry, retail, etc.). **Key Responsibilities** * Support the **management and tracking of technology projects** (software, cloud, integrations, etc.) * Track technical team tasks (backend, frontend, DevOps) * Participate in **client meetings** to gather requirements and provide follow-up * Document requirements, agreements, and project progress * Support **task planning and time control** * Identify risks and blockers, escalating them promptly * Ensure **order, traceability, and clear communication** across each project * Support preparation of weekly reports (status, progress, risks) * Coordinate internally with various team roles (developers, QA, UX, cloud) **Candidate Profile** * An **organized, structured, and judicious** individual * Strong communication skills (critical: will interact directly with clients) * Ability to **self-manage and track progress** * Proactive (does not wait to be told what to do) * Genuine interest in technology and projects * Ability to learn quickly in demanding environments **Technical Requirements** * Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields * **Minimum 1 year of experience** in: * Project management (junior level), OR * Software development (with interest in project management) * Basic knowledge of: * Software development lifecycle * Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) * Tools such as Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar * Git (conceptual understanding) * Preferred: * Prior involvement in real projects (internships or work experience) * Basic knowledge of backend or frontend * Experience documenting requirements At **Prográmate**, you won’t be doing tracking “just for the sake of it”.
