SSOMA Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking an SSOMA Supervisor with experience in safety, occupational health, and environmental management to ensure regulatory compliance, identify risks, and propose improvements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise compliance with SSOMA policies and regulations 2. Identify hazards and assess operational risks 3. Conduct safety and environmental inspections Requirements: * Licensed Industrial, Mining, or Civil Engineer. * Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and/or SSOMA. * Minimum 2 years of experience as an SSOMA Supervisor and/or SSOMA Engineer and/or Prevention Specialist. * Availability to work in Pacasmayo. Responsibilities: \- Supervise compliance with SSOMA policies, legal regulations, and internal procedures. \- Identify hazards, assess risks, and propose control measures for operational activities. \- Verify proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). \- Conduct field safety and environmental inspections and prepare findings reports. \- Investigate incidents, accidents, and unsafe conditions, proposing corrective and preventive actions. \- Train and raise awareness among staff on safety, occupational health, and environmental protection topics. \- Coordinate with the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Department to implement prevention programs, emergency plans, and incident response protocols. \- Maintain up-to-date SSOMA documentation, records, and performance indicators. \- Report SSOMA performance, deviations, and improvement opportunities to the relevant supervisor. \- Other duties.
