Job Summary: Technical Services Assistant to support hardware and software solutions, preventive maintenance, and handling of IT requests at the University. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical and operational support for hardware and software solutions 2. Preventive maintenance of computer equipment 3. Timely response to technological requests TECHNICAL SERVICES ASSISTANT JOB REQUIREMENTS University degree, Bachelor's degree, and/or Technical degree in Systems, Computer Science, or related fields. Experience in positions of similar nature; minimum of 2 years. Knowledge of ITSM disciplines. Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance and structured cabling. Advanced-level knowledge of computing and informatics. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical and operational support for hardware and software issues arising on the University's computer equipment. Execute the University's preventive maintenance schedule for computer equipment. Ensure operational status of computer equipment in classrooms, laboratories, workshops, and administrative areas of the University. Respond promptly to requests submitted by various University departments. Support the Head of Technical Services and Support in identifying emerging technological trends that contribute to the University's growth. Generate service reports and inform the immediate supervisor. Perform other duties assigned or delegated by the Head of Technical Services and Support within the scope of applicable regulations.
