Responsible for implementing and auditing area-specific standards within the assigned Distribution Center to prevent incidents involving people, products, and facilities. **Key Responsibilities:** * Identify and assess job-specific risks. * Select and coordinate the procurement and delivery of PPE based on risk assessment, and manage distribution and allocation for all personnel. * Manage and supervise contractor work activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational safety standards. * Deliver basic training programs for new hires. * Coordinate emergency response team and Safety & Hygiene Committee training. * Coordinate forklift operator certification, including managing expiration dates and renewals. * Execute internal procedures such as accident investigations to determine root causes and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence. * Supervise regulatory compliance and corporate programs through inspections and related activities to identify training needs, tooling gaps, or process deficiencies aimed at preventing accidents. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety & Hygiene, Civil Protection, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in Safety, preferably within distribution centers. * Advanced intermediate proficiency in Excel (reporting, daily work logs, and data analysis). * Knowledge of regulatory processes and government agency procedures. * Experience implementing and analyzing ESHQ indicators. * Intermediate English proficiency preferred. * Willingness to travel. **GXO Logistics** is an equal opportunity employer for candidates joining our team.
