When you join us, you’ll be part of a global team harnessing the power of scientific testing and data\-driven insights to build a healthier future. * Receive samples following established procedures to ensure physical samples match custody documentation. * Review the physical condition of samples, considering volume, container type, preservation method, and other items listed on the chain of custody, to provide relevant observations regarding the samples. * Correctly code samples to ensure their distribution aligns with assignments from the My Lims system. * Prepare and schedule international sample shipments to ensure samples arrive in optimal condition for analysis. * Coordinate sample shipments between sites and external laboratories to meet client requirements. * Distribute samples to the laboratory, with particular emphasis on microbiological samples, to guarantee sample integrity and appropriate storage time prior to analysis. * Verify and record temperatures of equipment assigned to Sample Reception to ensure equipment functionality. * Perform other duties as required by your immediate supervisor. **Working at ALS** The ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
