MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR MINE

**POSITION MISSION:** Supervise and coordinate the execution of mechanical maintenance work on the mine equipment fleet under responsibility according to the maintenance plan, reviewing the quality of maintenance execution to ensure availability of mine assets, contributing to operational continuity. **FUNCTIONS:** * Distribute, assign and coordinate mechanical maintenance tasks from the daily work program (preventive maintenance, inspections, scheduled corrective actions) and unscheduled servicing for the assigned mine equipment fleet. * Supervise the execution of mechanical maintenance tasks assigned to personnel under supervision, coordinating with third parties for the execution of scheduled and unscheduled work. * Control quarterly tool inventory checks, including hand tools (technicians' tool kits) and tool warehouse items (diagnostic tools). * Monitor order and cleanliness before, during and after maintenance work execution in workshop and field operations. * Review documentation generated in the workshop as a result of equipment servicing, for subsequent submission to Planning. * Supervise equipment shutdown and handover in coordination with the Mine Operations department. * Control corrective maintenance work orders and work notifications, supervising technical closure of work orders / work notifications in SAP. * Perform basic maintenance on mine equipment in the absence of technicians for various reasons. * Support monitoring and preparation of weekly and daily electrical maintenance plans for mine equipment and facilities. * Implement contingency plans and/or defined action plans in response to unplanned shutdown events. In 2007 Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to build, develop and operate the Toromocho copper megaproject. Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine that a Chinese company has executed and developed entirely from inception overseas. It is located in the district of Morococha, Yauli province, Junín department, and over 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important companies within China Copper and the largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary of CHINALCO. Requirements **1\.\- Degrees:** MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTROMECHANICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING **2\.\- Experience:** 8 years overall, 5 years in the sector, 3 years in the position **3\.\- Technological Tools:** EXCEL (Intermediate), SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) (Intermediate) **4\.\- Licenses:** Professional title, registered and licensed, Class A1 driver's license, (Only for internal transfers) Minimum 3 years of experience in the area (if degree is not related), (Only for internal transfers) Certifications proving awareness of potential or actual health or safety hazards in the mining unit (if degree is not related) **KNOWLEDGE:** * Knowledge of pneumatics * Operational cost (OPEX) and capital project (CAPEX) control and management * Definition of maintenance mine objectives and indicators (KPIs) and interpretation of management metrics (cost/performance) * Maintenance of systems, equipment and components in Open Pit Mining Operations * Planning and execution of mine maintenance * Preventive maintenance processes for large-scale mining equipment * Spare parts and materials management knowledge, SAP handling, interpretation of oil analysis * Ability to read parts manuals and large-scale mining equipment drawings * Open-pit mining operations production process * Knowledge of mining safety, occupational health and environmental practices in mine maintenance Benefits Benefits according to labor law and MCP compensation policy.
