Job Summary: We are seeking a technician to prepare, develop, and review technical drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards, and coordinating with the engineering team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preparation and development of technical drawings in AutoCAD. 2. Maintenance of document control and drawing traceability. 3. Collaboration in generating reports and quantity takeoffs for construction projects. * Prepare drawings in **AutoCAD**, or similar software, based on sketches, conceptual designs, or instructions from the engineering department. * Develop drawings for **fabrication, assembly, structural steel, electrical installations, mechanical systems, or civil works**, depending on project type. * Review and revise drawings according to technical feedback from the engineering department or supervision. * Maintain **document organization and control**, including drawing versions and revisions, ensuring full traceability. * Coordinate with engineers and project managers to define construction details and resolve technical queries. * Support preparation of **isometrics, construction details, diagrams, and schematics**. * Ensure drawings comply with the company’s **technical specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards**. * Collaborate in generating **progress reports, quantity takeoffs, and work quantities** derived from drawings. * Perform digital copies and backups of technical files. * Support the engineering team in technical presentations and visualizations as required. **Job Requirements** * **Education:** Technical diploma in mechanical drafting, industrial design, or related fields. * **Experience:** Minimum **1–2 years** in engineering firms, structural steel companies, industrial construction, or related sectors. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Proficiency in **AutoCAD 2D and 3D** (mandatory). * Basic ability to interpret structural, mechanical, or electrical drawings. * Familiarity with **technical drawing standards** and industrial symbology.
