Job Summary:
This position involves comprehensive management of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems, including inspection, maintenance, and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Comprehensive management of fire detection and suppression systems.
2. Performance of hydraulic and volumetric calculations.
3. Development of preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
* Submit access permit requests to the NOC according to RDNFO site access protocols.
* Perform tasks related to alarm detection from the central and secondary panels of the clean agent (NOVEC 1230 or equivalent) fire detection, alarm, and suppression system at the NOC.
* Review and identify active alarms reported on the Fire Panel (Alarm Control Board).
* Identify active issues reported on the Fire Panel and verify software-level compatibility.
* Identify activities required to integrate the system with fire detection panels and early gas detection systems.
* Perform hydraulic and volumetric calculations to determine the appropriate quantity of clean agent in accordance with current regulations.
* Formulate periodic action plans for cylinder pressure level checks and valve condition assessments, functional testing of sensors, panels, alarms, and signaling devices; plan how to record preventive and corrective maintenance in a management system; formulate an infrastructure management plan for conducting enclosure integrity tests (annual test).
* Prepare detailed drawings of the fire protection system.
* Report incidents occurring during service delivery to the user department.
