Position Summary: We are seeking an Engineering Assistant to support planning, supervision, and monitoring of construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, environmental compliance, schedule adherence, and cost control. Professional development and learning in construction management and control We are currently looking for an **Engineering Assistant** to join our field team in **Pimentel – Chiclayo**. The position will provide support to the Resident Engineer/Immediate Supervisor in **planning, supervision, and monitoring of construction activities**, with active field involvement and contribution to meeting project standards for **quality, safety, environment, schedule, and cost**. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree or graduate in **Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields**. * Minimum **one (1) year** of experience, including professional internships, within the construction sector. * Experience or knowledge in **supervision and monitoring of construction works**. * Knowledge of **AutoCAD**. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Office**, especially Excel. * Familiarity with **Microsoft Project** is desirable. * Willingness to perform work primarily **on-site**. * Ability to coordinate and monitor **subcontractors**. * Experience in **finishes and/or wet works** is desirable. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Support the Resident Engineer/Immediate Supervisor in field activities, ensuring adherence to **schedule, quality, and cost** targets. * Monitor the **construction schedule**, reporting progress, deviations, and observations. * Supervise and monitor work performed by **subcontractors**. * Coordinate with subcontractors on activity planning and verify execution of scheduled tasks. * Participate in field inspections to prepare **observation lists and handover minutes**. * Participate in resolving client-generated observations during the project acceptance process. * Supervise **wet works, tiling, glazing, windows, doors, and painting**, verifying correct execution per specifications and schedule. * Monitor protocols for **inspections, tests, and trials** conducted on site. * Verify that field information and records are accurately and timely documented. * Ensure compliance with **Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems**. * Promptly communicate changes, incidents, or situations that may impact project progress. * Coordinate with the Immediate Supervisor on required resources to achieve field objectives. * Contribute to optimizing construction processes related to finishes. * Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.
