Job Summary: We are seeking a Safety Engineer to verify and ensure implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Plan and the Environmental Management Plan on site, train personnel, and manage risks. Supervision of risk prevention and regulatory compliance We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Safety Engineer to join our team at KOELSA PERU SRL! As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for training, verifying, and ensuring implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Plan and the Environmental Management Plan on site, reporting deviations promptly to the Site SSOMA Manager. Requirements: \- 3 years of experience as a Safety Engineer. \- Degree holder and registered professional in Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, or related fields. \- Specialization in Occupational Safety and Health. \- Minimum 2 years of experience as an SSOMA Engineer in the mining industry. \- Knowledge of occupational risk prevention, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and OHSAS 18001 standards. \- Proficiency in SSOMA management tools. ROUTINE RESPONSIBILITIES 1\. Train, verify, and ensure implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Plan and the Environmental Management Plan on site, RISST, and promptly report detected deviations to the Site SSOMA Manager. 2\. Train field personnel on implementation of the Site Emergency Response Plan. 3\. Verify and ensure compliance with SSOMA considerations in operational procedures (PETS). 4\. Monitor correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by workers. 5\. Inspect workers' PPE weekly. 6\. Supervise proper assembly of certified scaffolding on site per PETS. 7\. Verify and approve correct completion of the ATS form by workers. 8\. Train and verify formation of emergency response teams. 9\. Deliver safety talks to field personnel and visitors before site entry, per provided schedule. 10\. Verify and report on site order and cleanliness compliance. 11\. Actively participate in accident investigations per the Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management System. 12\. Coordinate emergency drills on site. 13\. Coordinate evacuation of injured personnel, if required, based on accident severity. 14\. Supervise and inspect daily work permits for field activities on site. 15\. Inspect site electrical panels and train personnel in coordination with supervision on the PETS LOTO procedure. 16\. Comply with guidelines set forth in the Occupational Safety and Health Regulation (Law No. 29783\) Availability to work under a 14x7 work regime\. Willingness to be assigned to the Shougang Project mining unit (Ica \- Nazca \- Marcona).
