ELECTRONIC BLAST PROGRAMMER

Description

Job Summary: A technical professional responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing blasting processes to ensure customer satisfaction and generation of detailed reports. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive coordination and execution of blasting processes. 2. Generation of detailed reports and post-blast results tracking. 3. Product training and addressing customer needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting. * Ensure adequate stock levels of DaveyTronic products at the operation site. * Verify availability of resources at the operation site or request them as needed. * Perform blasting design, programming, connection, checking, charging, and detonation. * Collect blasting process data and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance indicators, progress, anomalies, downstream post-blast results tracking support, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct product training covering properties and applications. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing requirements and expectations. * Coordinate blasting activities with the customer and provide process reports. REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum 2 years of experience in mining (preferred). * Minimum 1 year of experience with electronic initiation systems (preferred). * Mining technician or related field. * Knowledge of explosives and detonators: usage and properties. * Blasting design software. * Knowledge of initiation sequence design. * Class AIIB driver's license (preferred)
