**Responsibilities and Duties**
**OBJECTIVE**

Define the competencies, scope, responsibilities, and tasks for the Infrastructure and Cloud Analyst position in carrying out its activities.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
---------------------
* Gather intelligence from diverse sources, including the deep/dark web, open-source intelligence (OSINT), specialized forums, and internal security tools.
* Evaluate and contextualize collected data to identify Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) as well as Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) used by threat actors.
* Develop detailed reports and/or bulletins and presentations explaining the threat landscape to various audiences—from technical staff to senior leadership.
* Provide critical intelligence to response teams to accelerate containment, mitigation, and recovery from cyberattacks.
* Proactively search for undetected malicious activity within the organization’s network, based on threat intelligence.
* Help the organization understand its vulnerabilities and prioritize security measures to strengthen cyber resilience.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**

* Understanding of protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and traffic analysis (e.g., using Wireshark).
* Ability to analyze, disassemble, and reverse-engineer malicious software (malware).
* Proficiency in searching information on the public web, *deep web*, and using tools such as Shodan or Censys, or other open-source intelligence (OSINT) sources.
* Experience managing Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIP) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems such as Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, etc.
* Basic knowledge of Python or Bash to automate data collection and analysis.
* Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT\&CK to understand attacker tactics and techniques.
* Basic understanding of forensic analysis to investigate compromised systems.
* Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, etc.) to identify risks.
* Ability to process large volumes of data and detect patterns to identify threats.

**EDUCATION**

* Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* Desired certifications: CTIA, GCTI, ISO 27001
* Prior experience in security roles (e.g., SOC Analyst or Incident Response) of at least 2 years.
