The professional will be responsible for document management, technical control, and support during project execution. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Field Technical Office Engineer and/or Project Planning and Control Engineer and/or Construction Scheduler, in construction projects involving metal structures, buildings, industrial sheds, civil works, and/or electromechanical works within the mining sector. Support the site resident engineer by developing the master plan, lookahead/3-week plan, and weekly activity plan for field operations. Determine crew sizes and timely request personnel, materials, and equipment required for activity execution. Update the field execution schedule, reflecting re-plans and adjustments agreed upon with the site resident and/or client. Update the constraint matrix and assigned responsibilities weekly, and track resolution of each constraint until closure. Update the planned vs. actual S-curve daily or weekly (depending on project scale), and forecast progress trends to alert the site resident of deviations. Update the Percent Plan Complete (PPC) weekly and conduct root-cause analysis for non-compliance. Prepare actual quantity take-offs and record daily labor, material, and equipment usage, along with daily progress, via Daily Reports (RD), applying the control item structure. Prepare and issue weekly and monthly project progress reports—including S-curves, critical milestones, and deviations—for submission to the site resident and client. Manage calculation records and required technical approvals, with support from the engineering department. Support headquarters in recording actual project costs and comparing executed costs against budget targets. Record, control, and track weekly constraint removal documentation in coordination with assigned responsible parties. Prepare monthly construction valuations for the client based on contractual prices and physical progress measured in the field. Prepare and manage timely technical reports and valuation substantiations required by the client (photo panels, measurements, confirmations). Record occurrences that may impact project cost, schedule, and/or scope, and manage change orders (initiation, budgeting, quotation, approval/denial tracking). Coordinate with headquarters on budgets for construction extras and requests for schedule extensions, supported by appropriate technical and economic justifications. Support field RED-LINE drawing preparation to facilitate change management and traceability of modifications to approved engineering. Coordinate with engineering for AS-BUILT drawings as contractual close-out deliverables. Participate in daily and weekly project team meetings and client meetings. Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports to the site resident, management, and client.
