Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and responsible Truck Driver to perform safe and efficient deliveries, maintain the vehicle in optimal condition, and support logistics operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for safe and efficient deliveries. 2. Preventive maintenance and minor vehicle repairs. 3. Assistance in loading and unloading cargo. We are SMDA, a company committed to quality in freight transportation and logistics services. Currently, we are looking for a **Truck Driver** to join our team and carry out safe, efficient, and responsible deliveries. **Responsibilities**: * Keep documentation up to date and carry a valid driver's license. * Operate the vehicle according to the route specified by the Company, complying with traffic laws and exercising appropriate judgment and care. * Verify the operational status of the assigned vehicle and ensure its proper use. * Keep the vehicle clean and in optimal operating condition. * Submit restrictive documentation within 48 hours prior to its expiration. * Immediately report any changes in vehicle ownership and submit the corresponding documentation. * Inspect and prepare the vehicle in advance before use. * Report any vehicle defects immediately to the coordinator and drive the vehicle to the mechanical workshop for repair. * Immediately report any contingencies to the coordinator and Operations Area assistants. * Perform minor mechanical repairs on the vehicle. * Safeguard and maintain in good condition all tools provided for use. * Attend training and orientation courses as directed by the immediate supervisor. * Assist in loading and unloading cargo during service, ensuring cargo is properly secured and protected. * Carry out all activities arising from the nature of the service. * Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations. * Submit documentation within established deadlines and formats to process payments. **Requirements**: · Valid AIIB driver's license. · Prior experience driving trucks and transporting cargo. · Knowledge of traffic regulations and road safety standards. · Ability to perform minor repairs and preventive vehicle maintenance. · Proactive, responsible, and cooperative team player. · Ability to assist in loading and unloading cargo. · Willingness to undertake long-distance trips if required. · No criminal record.
