Position Summary: We are seeking a Planning Engineer to design and manage project schedules, and to monitor physical and financial progress in the metallurgical, mechanical, and construction sectors. At Palcon Peru, we are currently recruiting a Planning Engineer for our CCM2L Metro 2 Lima project. **Main Responsibilities** * Design and manage the project schedule using MS Project at an expert level. * Break down project activities into a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), identifying key milestones and deliverables. * Conduct and document physical and financial progress monitoring, calculating performance indicators. * Prepare valuations based on the WBS and generate reports on Labor, Machine Hours, and Materials. * Identify and propose solutions to issues related to basic structural steel engineering and equipment installation. * Implement and enforce SIG procedures, supervising Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards. **Requirements** * Completed university degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * 3–5 years of experience in project planning and control, preferably with companies in the metallurgical, mechanical, construction, and industrial installation sectors. * Experience managing impacted schedules. * Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and advanced Excel skills, along with data analysis tools. * Knowledge of cost control, valuation, and project management under PMI standards. * Familiarity with additional tools such as SAP and AutoCAD. * Willingness to travel between operations within the same city. **Benefits** * Formal employment registration from the first day of work. * 50% EPS health insurance coverage. * Opportunity to join and grow within a solid industry group.
