Job Summary: We are seeking a Solutions Architect to participate in strategic projects, design optimal solutions, and coordinate with experts, contributing to BBVA's success. Key Highlights: 1. Our people make the difference in our success. **Employment Type:** Regular (Undefined) **What are we looking for?** **Responsibilities** * Participate in strategic and local projects approved by the SDA, supporting the Engineering Leader in fulfilling a business need using a solution based on current architectures, while promoting new architectures that optimize resource utilization. * Exercise a degree of autonomy in leading assigned projects under the sub\-unit leader, always coordinating with a senior role such as Solution Architect Expert or Senior Expert to ensure the quality of deliverables produced. * Participate in projects through architecture committees and continuous ideation. * Collaborate in delivering optimal architecture solutions that deliver value to BBVA across business, process, technology, and platform levels of BBVA's established architecture. This will be achieved by guaranteeing expected quality attributes related to availability, interoperability, performance, security, usability, reliability, scalability, and monitoring. * Support engineering teams in implementing the technical solutions defined in the solution model. * Other responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. * Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages. * Platform experience: Demonstrated track record working with banking platforms or in cloud environments. * Artificial Intelligence proficiency (Desirable): Ability to validate and manage the use of Artificial Intelligence tools in project design and implementation. * Project management and design: Experience participating in ideation and discovery phases, with the ability to independently interpret business needs and translate them to execution teams. * Experience participating in agile ceremonies and implementing agile practices and artifacts (Desirable). * Fluent command of the Google tools ecosystem (Gemini, Docs, Presentations, etc.). * Key soft skills: Leadership, strong analytical capability, conflict management, and outstanding negotiation aptitude. **Responsible Banking** --------------------- Our responsible banking model **aims to build a more inclusive and sustainable society.** Because the future of finance is financing the future.
