Work for a national retail chain with 12 years of experience INVENTORY ASSISTANT **Responsibilities:** Conduct physical counts of products within assigned sections, reviewing initial count results and identifying causes of inventory discrepancies (overages and shortages) Report and document unsellable merchandise identified during inventories at each store as needed. Audit warehouse asset inflows and outflows. Implement action plans to reduce shrinkage rates. Strictly adhere to scheduled cyclic counts and coordinate with store staff regarding physically detected shrinkage. Perform other supplementary duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
