Seeking a Drilling and Blasting Engineer:
Requirements
Graduated and licensed Mining Engineer*
3 years of professional experience in similar functions within the drilling and blasting area*
Knowledge of mining software (JK SIMBLAST, WIPFRAG, AEGIS, AUTOCAD and others) \- MICROSOFT OFFICE (Intermediate) \- SAP (Intermediate*)
Responsibilities
Coordinate with involved departments on medium- and short-term planning and scheduling of the drilling and blasting process*.
Coordinate with the planning department to develop drilling designs according to material type*.
Ensure drilling patterns are executed per design specifications, including hole diameter, depth, and direction indicated in the drilling layout diagram*.
Review and interpret drilling parameters by rock type, performance vs. KPIs*.
Ensure control of explosive and blasting agent stock according to the blasting plan and maintain consumption statistics*.
Monitor contractors and work teams to comply with controls associated with critical risks defined for drilling and blasting*.
Propose business case projects focused on process improvement*.
Monitor budget execution, identifying deviations and opportunities across each process to optimize costs and thereby generate value*
