Job Summary: We are seeking an organized professional with strong management capabilities to lead the procurement, purchasing, and spare parts control process for a mining operation, serving as the key liaison between maintenance and suppliers. We seek an organized professional with strong management capabilities to lead the procurement, purchasing, and spare parts control process for our mining operation. You will serve as the key liaison between the mine maintenance team and suppliers, ensuring equipment never halts due to spare parts shortages. **Main Responsibilities** * **Procurement Management:** Process, quote, and manage orders (requirements) for spare parts and materials generated by the maintenance department. * **Flow Control:** Monitor and track all items shipped to the mine, all returned items (returns, tools, external repairs), and all purchased items. * **History and Records:** Maintain up-to-date records of purchase history, pricing, delivery times, and key suppliers. * **Spare Parts Planning:** Register and forecast critical spare parts required for preventive and corrective maintenance plans. * **Stock Assurance:** Coordinate internal logistics to ensure correct and timely supply to mine warehouses. **Candidate Requirements** * **Education:** Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. * **Experience:** Minimum 2–3 years in similar roles (maintenance logistics, technical procurement, or spare parts planning), preferably in the mining or industrial sector. * **Technical Knowledge:** Familiarity with heavy/mining machinery spare parts and inventory management. * **Tools:** Intermediate/advanced Excel proficiency. * **Skills:** Negotiation, organization, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. **We Offer** * Formal employment with all statutory benefits. * Opportunities for career growth and job stability.
