




Job Summary: CNC lathe operator responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring part production, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring dimensional quality. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operation and monitoring of CNC lathes for part production 2. Interpretation of technical drawings and dimensional control of parts 3. Preventive maintenance and tool management **Education:** * Graduate or completing studies in Production Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanics, or related technical programs. * Knowledge of technical drawing interpretation. (Desirable) * Knowledge of CNC lathe operation. (Desirable) **Experience:** 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes. **Key Functions and Responsibilities:** \- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes to produce parts. \- Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and specification sheets; input required parameters into the CNC system for part manufacturing. \- Machine parts on the CNC lathe using various verification and dimensional control instruments to achieve dimensions specified in drawings, specifications, and/or samples. \- Perform precise measurements of parts using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to ensure compliance with tolerances and specifications. \- Operations are performed according to part geometry, dimensions, and tolerances. Measurements apply quality methods and conditions. Measurements are interpreted and parameters adjusted based on working conditions and tolerances. \- Perform preventive maintenance and basic cleaning of the CNC machine to ensure proper operation and extend its service life. \- Maintain an inventory of tools and ensure they remain in good condition; request replacements when necessary.
