Maintenance of the work area and tools (5S) **Purpose:** Prepare, operate, control, and assist the machine operator in preparation, bagging, winding, and rewinding, ensuring correct product quality. **Requirements:** Education: Technical studies in Electricity or Mechanics. Other Knowledge (Desirable): Basic Industrial Safety; Tri-Norm Management Systems; Use of Hand Tools. Software Skills: SAP proficiency (desirable). Minimum prior experience required in the functional area: 0–2 years. Number of people supervised: none **Responsibilities:** Program the printing machine or marking wheel according to the legend specified in the specification or customer requirement. Verify safe machine operation before commencing production. Start and stop the machine according to standards. Follow OPL (One-Point Lesson) instructions. Manage production while adhering to operational procedures regarding cost, quality, and scheduling. Inspect quality of in-process and finished products. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-conditioned work area and tools, returning them to the toolroom afterward (implementation of 5S). Perform all secondary and/or additional duties contributing to the production of an excellent-quality product.
