We are seeking an SSOMA Coordinator with experience in implementing and managing Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Management Systems and leading teams in the industrial, construction, and services sectors.

**SSOMA COORDINATOR**
We are currently seeking an **Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental (SSOMA) Coordinator** with experience in implementing and managing OSH Management Systems, team leadership, and administering client homologation processes for clients in the industrial, construction, and services sectors.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Plan, implement, maintain, and improve the Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management System (SSOMA).
* Develop, execute, and monitor the **Annual Occupational Safety and Health Plan (PASST)**.
* Ensure compliance with **Law No. 29783**, its Regulation, and other applicable Occupational Safety and Health regulations.
* Respond to inspections, audits, and requests from **SUNAFIL**, clients, and other competent authorities.
* Manage and keep up-to-date all legal and technical documentation of the OSH Management System.
* Comprehensively manage client homologation processes through platforms such as **Hodelpe, Bureau Veritas, AyF Gestión**, among others, ensuring timely fulfillment of documentary requirements and resolution of observations.
* Prepare, update, and control documents such as **IPERC, ATS, PETS, PETAR, procedures, instructions, standards, matrices, records, formats, and emergency plans**.
* Supervise compliance with safety standards across projects and operations.
* Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, assess risks, and verify implementation of controls.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and occupational illnesses, proposing and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
* Coordinate and conduct emergency drills and maintain the Emergency Response Plan up to date.
* Coordinate the operation of the **Occupational Safety and Health Committee** or OSH Supervisor, preparing meeting minutes and tracking agreed actions.
* Deliver the **four mandatory annual trainings** established by current regulations.
* Coordinate inductions, re-inductions, trainings, and safety talks for both internal staff and contractors.
* Supervise correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and manage its distribution and replacement.
* Supervise high-risk activities (e.g., work at height, confined space entry, hot work, lifting operations, excavations, electrical hazards, etc.).
* Manage work permits and verify compliance with procedures for critical activities.
* Coordinate occupational medical examinations and monitor validity of staff medical fitness certifications.
* Lead and supervise operational staff on Occupational Safety and Health matters.
* Develop management indicators (KPIs), weekly and monthly reports for Management.
* Coordinate internal and external audits, as well as follow-up on closure of observations.
* Promote a preventive culture through campaigns, inspections, and awareness programs.
* Coordinate with Operations, Human Resources, Administration, and clients to ensure compliance with OSH requirements.
* Other duties inherent to the position.
**Requirements**
* Graduate, Bachelor’s degree holder, or candidate in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related fields.
* Minimum of **3 years** of proven experience in similar positions.
* Demonstrated experience in homologation management and OSH Management Systems.
* Proven experience leading work teams.
* Knowledge of **Law No. 29783** and its Regulation.
* Knowledge of **ISO 45001** and **ISO 14001** (ISO 9001 is desirable).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate or advanced level).
* Availability to visit project sites.
