Position Summary: We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to conduct environmental monitoring and environmental quality analysis for mining projects, with skills in supervision and report preparation. Responsibilities including environmental report design, supervision, and preparation **Vacancy for Environmental Engineer – Environmental Quality** Knight Piésold Peru is seeking an **Environmental Engineer** with experience in "field environmental monitoring" and "environmental quality analysis" for projects in the mining sector. **Education:** * Environmental Engineer **Experience:** * Minimum **5 years** of involvement in developing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Initial Technical Studies (ITS), and Closure Plans. * Experience in monitoring surface water, sediment, and groundwater (piezometers) quality. * Experience preparing environmental monitoring reports and environmental baseline quality reports. * Knowledge of the mining sector. **Requirements:** * Intermediate-level Office skills, basic GIS knowledge, intermediate database handling (R, Python, Power BI) * Advanced English proficiency * **Fieldwork capability** * Leadership, planning, and excellent writing skills **Responsibilities:** Design fieldwork terms of reference and work plans; supervise fieldwork conducted by accredited laboratories; perform field-based environmental quality monitoring; conduct quality control of laboratory-provided results; process and manage databases; prepare environmental monitoring reports, environmental baseline reports, environmental impact assessments, and environmental management strategies, among others.
